In April 1990, ORIX Corporation and ORIX Rentec Corporation established a joint venture, ORIX Taiwan Corporation. In 1998, in light of the thriving business in car leasing in Taiwan, ORIX Group established ORIX Auto Leasing Taiwan Corporation, which is the first foreign company in Taiwan to obtain the business license for Type A passenger car leasing. Later, it went on to set up ORIX Taiwan Asset Management Company in 2004 and ORIX Taiwan Insurance Agency Corporation in 2006 to satisfy customers’ needs in all financial matters.
Over 20 years after its inception, ORIX Auto Leasing Taiwan Corporation now has over 6,000 vehicles under management, serving well-known corporations across all sectors, and has acquired extensive experience in fleet management over the years.
